Where a material can be recovered it is separated during sorting. Concrete, clean fill and metals are handled as distinct streams.
The purpose of sorting is to reduce the volume of material that ends up in landfill when it did not need to.
One destination for a mixed load, and a clear record of where it went, instead of managing several disposal points yourself.
APEX does not claim that all waste received is recycled. Recovery depends on what is in the load, how well it is separated and what the material is. Some material is genuinely not recoverable and is directed to appropriate disposal.
